I'm glad you're here and taking the time to learn more about me—it means you're already taking a meaningful step toward healing and self-discovery. I’m a bilingual psychotherapist with training in both Peru and the United States, which has enriched my ability to honor and understand diverse cultural experiences and perspectives.
My primary training is in psychodynamic psychotherapy, a depth-oriented approach that helps uncover the underlying patterns influencing our emotions and relationships. I also draw from a variety of therapeutic techniques to tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs.
At the heart of my work is the belief in creating a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe to explore their emotions, communicate openly, and build healthier, more fulfilling connections with themselves and others.
I’m often reminded of a powerful idea by psychoanalyst Judith Viorst, who wrote in Necessary Losses that, "it is through our inevitable losses—of protection, of idealized expectations, of time, and of loved ones—that we grow, mature, and deepen our understanding of life."
Therapy offers a place to reflect on these necessary losses and, through that process, continue evolving. I'm here to walk with you through that journey.
